What the Certification Means

Each certified product receives a Design Conformity Circular Design Certificate ad a Carbon Label, independently evaluating its carbon impact across its full life cycle. The certificate covers key sustainability metrics, such as:

• Carbon Efficiency: Measuring the product’s carbon footprint over its 1st life cycle and potential 2nd life carbon footprint, including materials, sourcing, production, distribution and end-of-life processing.

• Deconstructability: The ease with which products can be dismantled for repair, reuse, or recycling.

• ‍Recycled, Recyclable and Reused Content: The percentage of recycled and recyclable materials, used in manufacturing, as well as the components designed for reuse in new products.

• Renewable Content: The use of sustainable, renewable materials in production.
